how do i maintain a push connection between me and the server?
what should i use for a database? ridiculously complicated hypertable or mongo or mysql or postgre or couch or what? what’s easier? what’s more futureproof?

Making some progress on the learning front.
Started to learn C++ for real now. On pointers—interesting language. I like it.
A lot of relearning. Similar to other programming languages I’ve dealt with (except for pointers.)
Reporting on more later. It should be interesting to go through and try to make polygons and such with this through OpenGL.
